As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another
(Proverbs 27 : 17)
Having friends is really important in Christianity so much so that even Jesus had 12 close friends which was Him displaying for us exactly what friends who claim to be followers of Christ should be like.
Jesus also shows us that having friends is necessary in life. It's not a luxury its a necessity. Jesus could do it alone but he showed us the importance of not doing it alone, because he knows that we are human; we can't do everything on our own and this is why relationships are so important. We depend on each other so its best to depend on good people. People who love you.
so be careful of who you surround yourself with, because we tend to become more like the people we associate ourselves with. Look around yourself are your friends people you would like to be more like or not? Do they motivate you to become a better person? What do you learn from each other? Do they worry about you as much as you worry about them? etc... The list goes on.
The video mentions some of the qualities and good attributes that exist between good friends; and ones who walk with God. So, now ask yourself what kind of friend you want to be? and what kind of friends do you want to have around you?
Do not be misled: "Bad company corrupts good morals."
